by Roberto Cipriani* An invitation to review one’s life, to strengthen one’s faith, to learn more about the meaning of the Holy Year, especially by participating in religious meetings: this is what emerges, among other things, from the analysis of the paper and online questionnaires filled out by thousands of faithful who participated in the Jubilee of Hope, unequivocal in describing the positive value of the spiritual experience they lived. As already for the Holy Year of 2000 and the Year of Mercy in 2015-2016, some sociologists from various Italian universities carried out a double investigation, both quantitative (with 6344 questionnaires) and qualitative (with 100 focused interviews, carried out in various parts of Italy).
