The police report a collision between two cars on rue du Canal in Schifflange. The serious traffic accident occurred on Monday night at around 12:42 a.m.
According to initial findings, two vehicles were traveling at high speed when one of the two cars collided head-on with an oncoming car. A female driver suffered life-threatening injuries, according to the police press bulletin on Monday. She was given first aid on site and then taken to a hospital. The occupants of the oncoming vehicle were uninjured.
There was significant damage to both vehicles and the police prepared an accident report.
