Jetmir Pepa’s criminal group consisted of the brothers, Jetmir Pepa, Aleks Pepa and Urim Pepa, who trafficked 7.5 tons of cocaine in the first year of the pandemic, in 11 months.
The program “Në Shënjestre” on News24, published new data from the investigative file of the criminal group of the Pepa family, which was led by Jetmir Pepa and his brothers.
His name was almost unknown to the public opinion until he gained fame, as after a fight on the night of the change of years, entering 2025, he shot a pistol in the air in the middle of a large crowd of young people, who were celebrating the new year in the Olympic Park of Tirana.
An event that turned Jetmir Pepa into an outlaw, since even though he was declared wanted, he was never arrested by the police.
Just like today, when despite the fact that SPAK issued 11 arrest warrants for his criminal group, he was still able to escape the handcuffs.
A name that was initially rumored as the boyfriend of Marinela Berisha, one of the Berisha sisters, who was involved in a violent clash with the blogger Klea Prenga, causing the latter deep wounds on her face, as a result of the use of cutting tools, in one of the bars in the former Block.
But who is the Albanian ‘Cazanova’, that behind him was hidden a huge empire of assets and monetary values, invested in different names of people, who served as prestanomes of his businesses.
What are the drug episodes already documented by SPAK, after the dismantling of the Sky Ecc application, thanks to French partners, and how could Jetmir Pepa invest such wealth in Albania, bypassing any legal filtering mechanism.
According to the investigative file provided by the show ‘Në Shënjestre’, the first documented episode of drug trafficking by the group led by Jetmir Pepa, is dated March 21, 2020.
Work which started in January of this year.
A quantity of 8.5 kg of cocaine, which was actually seized in the city of Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, right after getting off the ship.
The date on which Leonard Pjetri, one of the members of the criminal group of Jetmir Pepa, who was also known as ‘Rrumi’ in his close circle, was arrested.
Conversations during which Leonard Pjetri reminds Anton Pjetri to talk to Jetmir Pepa, and to get the latter’s approval for the trafficking of 100 kg of cocaine.
Sky Etc
Jetmir Pepa: The work should be ready tomorrow.
Anton: OK
Leonard Pjetri: He left for there, he counted once again that there are 100 fixed.
That the parties have counted them wrong. So I count again
Likewise, I write to ‘Rrumi’ and ask him when the driver will leave.
But even though the criminal group took great care not to leave traces and thus save its members from the police in the countries where they trafficked narcotics, the facts showed that from time to time members of this organization fell into the trap of law enforcement bodies.
As was Leonard Peter’s bad luck. For which he already starts and grinds his thoughts on how to get him out of the cell.
While what results from the investigations as well as the conversations on Sky Ecc between the members of the group is that they had a pact between them.
Agreement which agreed that members of the criminal group would be paid among themselves for each shipment.
But this only applied if the cargo was not seized by the police.
Conversely, if the cargo fell into the hands of the police, they were not paid.
While during the talks about the release of Leonard Pjetri, they also take care not to leave fingerprints on the drug loads, but use gloves.
Another episode of drug trafficking by the criminal group led by Jetmir Pepa is when they try to get a quantity of cocaine out of a port in Holland.
Here, where a leading role is played by Alex Pepa, the brother of Jetmir Pepa, who also holds the generalships, Shkëlqim Pepa.
Alex Pepa, while talking to his brother Jetmir, cries to the latter about his troubles, that he is barely collecting his debts.
This is apparently from other people who have their part in the cargo where the main quantity of drugs is owned by Jetmir Pepa and his group.
It is understood that Alex Pepa runs the drug money collection operation from Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Where apparently the group led by his brother has its base and cooperates with other Albanians or foreigners, who also have a share, or have paid their amount of drugs, which will be in the same load as that of the group led by Pepa.
Which is also implied by the money that Alex Pepa is currently collecting in Dubai.
Dirhans that are equivalent to Albanian money are somewhere around 330 million ALL.

Second episode of cocaine.
Jetmir Pepa talks to his brother Alex and sends him photos of the ship. He tells her that the cargo is ready. As well as measures have been taken with the aim of carrying out the removal of drugs from the port.
But during the conversation, Aleks Pepa alias Shkëlqim Pepa, expresses concern that in the meantime he is not able to collect the money.
Aleks Pepa: I have 30 million euros from work and I still can’t collect it.
I also received 15 million dirhams, I have them here in Dubai.
Another, episode and the second documented after the seizure of the first load of 8.5 kg in the Dutch capital of Amsterdam, at the end of March 2020, is the trafficking of an amount of 1,018 kg of cocaine-type narcotics, from Peru to the Port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
Episode dated 7th and 8th April 2020, So just a few weeks after they failed at the first attempt. Cargo which arrived at the port of Rotterdam on a Colombian ship while the narcotics were hidden in a refrigerated container containing frozen fruit juice.
The value of the sale in the market was over 1.3 million euros.
Where, based on the discoveries made by SPAK and foreign partners, Aleks Pepa turns out to be the right-hand man of his brother, Jetmir Pepa.
As well as the main man who coordinates drug trafficking on behalf of the group.
Likewise, he is the liaison point with foreign citizens, with whom he creates contacts and conducts conversations on drug issues.
One of these conversations is with a person known by the nickname ‘Supergang’.
Where both talk about a load of 120 kg of cocaine.
Conversations on Sky Ecc
Alex Pepa, talks to Supergang, about a quantity of cocaine of 120 kg.
Alexi: I know them all brother. That’s how we work hard together. I fall first, I have the second.
I have three groups. I have never been without a job in seven years.
My first job, brother, I did in Valencia in 2010, then in Rotterdam, test with 120 kg of cocaine, they have no control.
The ship arrives tomorrow morning. As it seems so far in the morning, I will be working from lunchtime when our ship is unloaded.
In another conversation that is apparently related to the same cargo, Alex Pepa, while talking to a person not yet identified by the police, gives interesting details about how the amount of cocaine that is getting ready to move by ship is being camouflaged.
This is where the other members of the group appear in the conversation, who also bear their nicknames.
As is Albert Pjetri who bears the nickname ‘Zeus’.
Or Florian Marku known as ‘Barcelona its back’.
Meanwhile, from what is understood in the conversation that Alex Pepa has with the unidentified person, the amount of drugs has arrived at the final destination and is ready to be unloaded.
Conversation during which the interlocutor’s impatience is understood, while Alex Pepa tries to calm him down, telling him that everything is going according to the plan agreed earlier.
And that their portion of the drug may be somewhat delayed in unloading, as it is in the last boxes of cargo.
Sky Etc
Alex Pepa talks to an unidentified person:
Alex Pepa: There are 1800 boxes to download. Everything is ready, just waiting to be downloaded. Our box is way down. It will take a while to download, I’m waiting. When they come down, we know for sure.
But while they calm each other down and Alex Pepa has exactly the task of maintaining the tense nerves and giving patience to his group members, but also to other partners who have their share of cocaine in the load that is just coming down to the port, this is where the suspicion that something is not going right started.
Here, after a check by the customs authorities, there is a suspicion that the cargo may have been spied on. And along with the cargo, they themselves may have been spied on.
Sky Etc
Alex Pepa suspects a check that is currently being carried out on the ship.
Alex Pepa: This area inspection only comes when the box is spied on.
They took the box, it’s type Off.
I said don’t grab the bags, because they are armed. They are Dutch, bro, they insert the GPS and crack it, open the boxes.
The suspicion that the goods may have already been spied on comes and is no longer so.
But a truth that begins to hurt the leaders of the drug trafficking and transit operation in the port of Rotterdam.
Who watch before their eyes how the cargo is discovered by the Dutch law enforcement agencies.
And that’s how they watch millions of euros lost with one hand pass before their eyes.
Concern which Alex Pepa also expresses to his interlocutor identified as ‘Supergang’.
The latter, for his part, shows that the Dutch customs authorities did not have information only about the goods, but also where it was hidden on the ship.
Which increases the suspicion of him and Alex Pepa, that they have been spied on by people they have collaborated with.
Conversations on Sky Ecc
Aleksi expresses concern about being identified as Supergang:
Alex Pepa: The goods may have been banned
Supergang: They also knew the exact position of the cargo on the ship and notified customs.
Alex Pepa: I am waiting for additional news, I will pay the expenses if he is caught. It is about 1 ton of cocaine.
During the conversation between them, not being able to hide the sorrow for this great loss of drugs, but also money, not including the expenses and sweat to bring the cocaine to the port of Rotterdam, Alex Pepa, talking to the person identified as ‘Supergang’, also mentions a person whom they call Qerosi.
Where the one who would take the drugs was Perry, Qeros’ nephew.
But these are certainly not the only episodes of drug trafficking from South America to Europe of the criminal group led by Jetmir Pepa and his brother Aleks Pepa, also known as Shkëlqim Pepa.
Where the doubts are, in fact, that the leader of the group is Aleks Pepa and his brother, Jetmiri, came after him
A family actually connected to organized crime and especially to the international traffic of narcotics.
Consisting of four brothers. Among them is Urim Pepa, who is said to have died in a road accident.
But based on communications in Sky Ecc, it appears that he was in conflict with his brothers, over drug money.
Conversations during which they exchange with each other photos of drug quantities, money, ship movements, as well as notes on any quantities or shipments of cocaine launched.
Where, as we said so far, the Special Prosecutor’s Office and international partners have managed to document 8 episodes of narcotics trafficking by this family-based criminal group.
Drug which always had as its destination the port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
Where if we take as a basis only the quantities seized, they are very small, compared to those that crossed the beam of the port, where the group managed to traffic within the period January-October 2020, approximately 7.5 tons of cocaine.
The cocaine, which started from Peru and after crossing the ports in South America, disguised in various ways, arrived in Europe, where it was awaited by another group dealing with the distribution infrastructure.
