Singer Zlata Ognevich spoke frankly about her personal life, why she is not ready to give birth to children, shared her beauty secrets and told how she almost committed suicide.
According to Zlata, she tries to keep her personal secret, because her partner should have the right to privacy. Zlata admitted that she received a proposal of hand and heart twice, but she did not accept them.
“I had an offer twice. But it was from a “past life”. I rejected one of them and there was such a student drama. The guy was very painfully going through our breakup, even spent the night on a bench under wreaths. It just cut my heart with a knife, but I understood that I would not be able to continue or revive the relationship with him. My God, I was so ashamed, I was so hurt that I secretly asked, that God would send him a woman so that he would forget about me. Zlata found her other boyfriend in Thailand, where he worked. However, after moving to Kyiv, her husband refused to look for a job, so for a while the singer took over all expenses.
“I dragged him out of Thailand altogether. I met him there and fell in love very much. I flew there both in winter and in summer. He is ours, a Ukrainian, he just worked there. I convinced him to return to Ukraine, he moved for me and we lived together for a while. Very cool as a person. But as a woman it was difficult for me to live. I paid for everything myself, and he sat and said that he was created for intellectual work and for nothing else. And I paid for I bought him a utility bill, an apartment, and I was ashamed of it. I told him to find some kind of job, but he said: “I’m still not used to the state of things around me, I’m not ready yet.” We met him for about three years.
And at some point I was like: “why do I have to pay for everything?” Sometimes he did some extra work. It once happened that I took things from the dry cleaners for a large amount of money, when he heard, he started: “What, you can’t clean yourself? You couldn’t deal with shoes and clothes?” It added why I come late, why the food is not prepared at home. And in that period, I had some kind of growth as a woman. I realized that something is going wrong, and it has been going wrong for a very long time, and I need to end it. And then I became the initiator of the breakup and we broke up. He returned to Thailand,” she explained.
Ognevich spoke about her relationship with her husband, in which she paid for everything
Zlata says that she respects women who dream of having a family: getting married, having a child. However, she herself is not ready for this.
“As of now, I have an answer – I’m not ready to give birth. The desire must appear, but simply to give birth, because the time has come, because society imposes it, because relatives ask – never, because it will be as I decide. As a woman. I am a completely healthy woman, I have reproductive functions, I can give birth to a child, but as of now, I do not want this,” added Ognevich.
The singer also shared the beauty secrets that help her look so great at the age of 40. First of all, she says, she has money to take care of herself. In addition, she admitted that when the time comes, she is ready to resort to plastic surgery.
“We have money to take care of ourselves. But it’s discipline, because without it nothing will happen. It’s nutrition, it’s training, sleep. It’s a beautician, regular procedures, high-quality care cosmetics. Everything should happen in doses, but systematically. Alcohol is rarely present in my life. I went there during vacations, swam with friends. I don’t have a taboo on alcohol, but I know my norm – two bottles and sleep. I don’t smoke, I don’t mind it, but when the time comes to do it blepharoplasty or lifting. I even went to the surgeon, wanted to do blepharo. I was sent for at least 5 years,” added Zlata.

The star also talked about a traumatic experience in her life – a suicide attempt.
“I went through very big mental upheavals before I learned to shine and sound to this world. The first big turning point in my life happened, I don’t like to talk about it at all, when I tried to leave my life. I stopped seeing the meaning and to the questions of my loved ones I answered yes. And I myself was preparing a retreat from this life. It’s really terrible. And I ask you, pay attention to those around you who behave stressed-out. In fact, it was selfish of me, because it would have made my family suffer. The first thought was that I was still alive, and then I was walking on the street, smiling at the people me. I’m not proud of it, I don’t say it at every step,” concluded Ognevich.
