Guðný Björk Stefánsdóttir didn’t worry and set three Icelandic records at the European Championships in Olympic weightlifting at the European Championships in Batumi, Georgia today.
Guðný competed in the -69 kg category at the European Championship and lifted 97 kg in the rope, which is an Icelandic record, and 116 kg in the even hand, which is also a new Icelandic record.
In total, she lifted 213 kg, which is also an Icelandic record in the -69 kg category, but she finished 14th out of 34 competitors.
