In any case, the young men won the respect of their opponents and the hearts of their fans. They once again filled the Pavel Demitra Winter Stadium in Trenčín.

Trasnparenty is an ironic allusion to the Vice-Chairman of the STVR Council, Lukáš Machala, who asked journalists on public television and radio that the United States of America should not be referred to by the international and customary abbreviation USA, but by the foreign one, i.e. ŠŠA.
“It’s not the USA, but it’s the US – the United States of America. Let’s start using those abbreviations as they are in Slovak,” said an adviser to the Minister of Culture, Martina Šimkovičová, at the meeting.
Machala also added at the time that if it does not improve, STVR will draw consequences from it.
Slovaks on social networks and in the audience were amused by these banners and Americans were not taken aback. They crushed the Swedes 9:1 and lead the B-group.
