Achieving an annual turnover that exceeds $5 million in the first year is what the Ever Group has proposed, after its arrival in the country in November 2025 with 4EVER Prepaid Medicine, which offers local and international coverage for its policyholders.
For this, the Group made an initial investment of $6 million. The launch took place in Guayaquil and this month the Quito and Machala offices were inaugurated. It has a presence in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.
“Our rates and policies are active to be marketed throughout the country. However, the operation is in Guayaquil and Quito, that is, that is where we have the operational team with all the management of the issuance of policies and contracts and so on, but our alliances with providers are absolutely throughout the country. Any resident of Ecuador can obtain a health plan with us in any part of the country,” explains Eleri Salces, general director of 4EVER Prepaid Medicine.
Grupo Ever arrives in the Ecuadorian health insurance market and promises 200 jobs in 12 months
He added that they have been in Guayaquil for a little more than three years, because a large part of the Group’s operation was already in the country for some years. “Now what we did was start the Ecuadorian market starting in November of last year,” he comments.
In June of this year, the next office is expected to open in Nuevo Samborondón, where the Santiago hospital is being built. The investment allocated for this project is $2.2 million.
As for hiring personnel, at the national level they have a little more than 200 workers, they started with 120, and from November to the present they have generated 80 jobs, and each quarter they increase between 30 and 50 new positions in different areas
“We are hiring a lot of the medical area, assistants, processors, commercial team personnel, people who support with the suppliers. That department is super important for us, the strategic alliance we make with all suppliers nationwide,” he emphasizes.
The initial interest of the Group in Ecuador is to develop 4EVER Prepaid Medicine and create a significant mass of policyholders to then arrive with the rest of the services.
They offer three plans: the lowest has coverage per policy year of $550,000, the intermediate one covers $2.5 million annually and the most complete has $5 million.
Within the Ever Group they sell life insurance, travel insurance and investments. “This is going to come in phase two. For now we are starting with health plans,” explains Salces, who together with her husband and son founded the Group, as well as other local and international insurance brands: Vumi and Best Doctors.
