The day before Shqip.com revealed exclusively the real and fictitious owners of “Equos Resort”. An important name of the DP was co-owner there with Ergys Agas and the family of the oligarch, Klodjan Allajbeu. Shkëlqim Hoxha, the former director of Games of Chance in the government of Sali Berisha owns about 45% of the shares of the resort which is now under seizure as the illegal property of Ergys Agasi, the main suspect of the AKSHI file.
In fact, the SPAK operation that led to the seizure of the multi-million euro luxury resort in Mullet goes beyond a procedural action to crackdown on organized crime assets. In fact, there are the threads that connect PD and SP, Sali Berisha and Edi Rama…
Also, Shkëlqim Hoxha is suspected of having carried out a series of maneuvers with the shares, changing the ownership structure repeatedly. These movements, according to the sources, took place in key periods and in conditions that require more in-depth verification by the relevant institutions, mainly by SPAK, which has the file in hand.
On the other hand, although the name of Ergys Agasi does not appear in documents as a co-shareholder in this venture, SPAK’s investigations prove his role, while the suspicions of an early cooperation between the parties, i.e. the people of Berisha and Ergys Agasi, are strengthened.
Meanwhile, in media and political circles, the name of Shkëlqim Hoxha has been mentioned earlier as a person who is suspected of having acted as a “prestanom” in some businesses related to Shkëlzen Berisha, the son of the chairman of the DP, Sali Berisha.
“Equos Resort” is one of the investments that has attracted attention due to the significant value and interests involved, while the publication of these documents may open a new chapter of investigations on the transparency and legality of the transactions carried out.
The original owner of “Equos Resort”, Klodjan Allajbeu, who transferred the shares to Klodian Shehi, also made the maneuver with the shares in 2021.
Interesting next is another move by Klodian Allajbeu. The latter appoints his relative, Fadil Allajbeu, as administrator and dismisses Marvin Keçi. So, in one way or another, Klodjan Allajbeu would maintain his presence at “Equos Resort” despite the “game” with alleged departures from the shareholders.
It remains to be seen whether the law enforcement institutions will take concrete steps to verify these developments and clarify any doubts about the management of the shares and the relations between the co-owners.
