Former director of the San Juan de Dios hospital speaks about the attempted hiring of Deicy Jiménez: it was going to be the sixth contract in the Petro era

A document signed by the deputy director of Human Talent of the San Juan de Dios Hospital, Camila Andrea Jaime de la Rosa shows that the resume of the young high school graduate Deyci Jiménez arrived at her offices on July 27, days before Gustavo Petro’s government expired.

The issue is relevant because it is the same young woman who has already accumulated 5 contracts with State entities that she attributes to payment of sexual favors to the then senator and president Gustavo Petro. In fact, he published a video on his social networks with which, he claims, he seeks to prove his intimate connection with the former president and the alleged connection with his roles in the Ministry of the Interior, in the time of Armando Benedetti; in the Supervigilance and in the Senate, in the times of María José Pizarro.

The new case draws attention because the repowering of the San Juan de Dios hospital was one of the flagship projects that the Petro government was carrying out in Bogotá. In fact, at the time the president pulled strings to allocate money from the purchase of the Gripen planes for “social compensation” and direct investment in the restoration and provision of the hospital complex, which to date has not come into operation.

Now, the entity’s Human Talent certification, published by fellow network La FM, will be attached as new evidence of the young high school graduate’s engagement in public institutions.

The document states that the advance management was limited to the reception of your resume and the documents provided for the position of administrative assistant, code 4044 grade 13.

And it is ensured that, after a compliance verification study of requirements, he did not advance to the subsequent stages of the process of joining the hospital, nor did his appointment and tenure in a job at the entity materialize.

His resume arrived at the entity when the director was the surgeon Pedro Pablo Tinjacá Ruiz, appointed by the Minister of Health, Guillermo Alfonso Jaramillo, on April 27, 2026.

The Investigative Unit of EL TIEMPO communicated with the former director of the entity to ask him about the attempt to link the young Jiménez, 27 years old, to the entity.

Tinjacá Ruiz began by ensuring that all hiring processes went through Human Talent, and that he did not have Deyci Jiménez’s name in mind at that time: “When I was director I never heard that name. Everything went through Human Talent and they carried out the linking process.”

And he added: “The operating license was never obtained to open and enable it, which is why I never appointed anyone. The few people I put in a position were staff to prepare the qualification and manage the license.”

In addition, he clarified that the payroll expenses that were budgeted were not covered with the resources that came from the purchase contract for the Gripen aircraft: “This expense was covered by the national budget. The resources that came from Sweden were for consulting hospital teams.”

And he clarified that for the position that Deicy Jiménez aspired to, one could be professional, technical, and even a bachelor’s degree, but with experience in the administrative field: “The salary range in that position is between 2 and 3 million pesos.”

For now, It will be evaluated whether Jiménez’s resume was recommended by an official or if she was the one who presented it directly.

The Investigative Unit had already revealed the 5 contracts that Jiménez obtained in the Interior portfolio, the Senate (in the time of María José Pizarro); the one from the Supervigilance and another one that was cooking in the Dapre. They are all already checked by authorities.

Pizarro came out first to say that they wanted to involve her in the attack on Petro. And, now, that the high school graduate fulfilled the contract in the first vice presidency of the Senate, the acceptance of a labor certification that was unauthorized by an Iranian channel has not been explained.

Guillermo Alfonso Jaramillo has not commented.

For now, the young He already handed over his cell phone to the Prosecutor’s Office and gave a statement in Court.
