RIMINI – Poetry as a tool for observing the world, giving voice to emotions and rediscovering the pleasure of words. With this objective, “Funambulatory of poetry. In equilibrium on the verse” was born, the new path promoted by the Higher Institute of Religious Sciences “A. Marvelli”, in collaboration with the Diocesan Library “Emilio Biancheri” of Rimini.
He will lead the laboratory Paolo Vachinopoet and lawyer, for years committed to promoting writing and poetic culture. In 2000 he helped found the Letterary Wednesdays and since 2007 he has led the poetic writing workshop within the Rablè writing school. He also collaborates with the Nuova Rivista Letteraria and has published several collections, including “Schiere di dream in wake” and “La via lattea degli ubriachi”.
“Poetry is always at sidewalk height“, is one of the suggestions proposed by Vachino to tell the spirit of the initiative. The path, in fact, does not require previous experience and is also aimed at those who are unfamiliar with writing, those who want to start writing again or simply find a space dedicated to listening, imagination and creativity.
The meetings will alternate reading, listening, reflection and experimentation, accompanying the participants in discovering the expressive possibilities of the word.
The course will begin on Wednesday 11 November 2026 and will continue with weekly appointments, from 6pm to 7.30pm, at the “Emilio Biancheri” Diocesan Library, in via Covignano 265. The course involves a total of 12 hours of activity.
To also allow participation to those who live outside the Rimini area, the organizers have provided an online method, with the same registration fee.
Registrations are open via the form available on the initiative’s website. For information you can contact the secretariat of the ISSR “A. Marvelli” at comunication@issrmarvelli.it or on 0541 751367. Further details are available on the website www.issrmarvelli.it.
