Pop icon Melanie C will join Patrick Kielty on the Late Late Show stage this week with a range of guests from Chris O’Dowd to celebrity chef Anna Haugh.
Sporty Spice Melanie C will speak about her solo career, as the only Spice Girl still making music, the group’s upcoming 30th anniversary, and whether a reunion is on the horizon.
The star who became a DJ in her 40s is set to release her ninth studio album in May, Sweat.
She is also currently in the midst of a global run of shows in the UK, Europe and Australia. The 52-year-old singer will perform in the 3Olympia Theatre in October 2026.
Legendary Irish comedian and actor Ardal O’Hanlon will also be in studio. He will chat to Kielty about his brand‑new mystery novel and what inspired him to write fiction.
O’Hanlon will also open up about recently losing his dad, Rory, reflect on growing up in rural Ireland, his extraordinary career that has taken him from Monaghan to Guadeloupe and back and celebrating a milestone birthday.
Chris O’Dowd, will also join the line‑up. From Boyle in Co. Roscommon to Hollywood, Chris will chat about his recent projects, including animated movie The Sheep Detectives and making his long‑awaited debut at Dublin’s Gate Theatre this summer.
O’Dowd will perform in Conor McPherson’s new play The Brightening Air, set in rural Sligo in the 1980s.
He’ll also tell Patrick about taking a trip down memory lane as he returned to his native county to support the Roscommon GAA team. Ireland’s best‑loved architect Dermot Bannon will take to the Late Late couch about the upcoming series Celebrity Super Spaces, where he is set to give audiences a rare peek inside the houses of the celebs – from Aidan Gillen to Vogue Williams, Joanne McNally and Andrew Porter. Irish chef and restaurateur Anna Haugh will round out the line‑up.
She’ll talk about stepping into the role of judge on the hugely popular MasterChef, what it’s like to join such an iconic series and how she brings her own Irish flair to her London-based restaurant and wine bar. Music on the night will be from Irish singer and stage actor Killian Donnelly who will perform Bring Him Home from Les Misérables live in studio.
