Electric passenger cars with four-wheel drive, reasonably priced electric cars and a large business program with, among other things, four-wheel drive vans will soon be part of DERES AUTO’s extended model range.

THEIR CAR can soon offer several new car brands to both private and business customers in Greenland. Among the new brands are Renault and Leapmotor, which gives THEIR AUTO access to a wide selection of electric cars, SUVs and vans in different sizes and price ranges. The first cars have already been ordered and carefully selected with a focus on models that suit the Greenlandic conditions.
We have long wanted to expand our selection with more cars that really suit the needs up here.
THEIR CAR has just been to Sweden to test several of the upcoming models, to ensure that they are suitable for use in Greenland.
“We have long wanted to expand our selection with more cars that really suit the needs up here. This applies to both electric passenger cars, reasonably priced models and vans with four-wheel drive. With the new brands, we get access to a very broad and exciting model programme,” says director and co-owner of DERES AUTO, Palle Frederiksen.

Electric four-wheel drive with up to 600 hp
One of the really big news is the Leapmotor C10, which is a spacious electric SUV with four-wheel drive, a range of more than 500 kilometers and up to 600 hp.
The car is delivered with a high level of equipment, which includes, among other things, a large sound system, panoramic glass roof and app-controlled heat pump.
“We had of course read about the car and seen the specifications in advance, but it really impressed us when we had the opportunity to try it ourselves. It drives fantastically well, has lots of space and comfort and is full of equipment. At the same time, the C10 and several other models come at very attractive prices” says Palle Frederiksen.
The Leapmotor C10 will be one of the first models that DERES AUTO takes home to Greenland. Leapmotor is also capable of delivering front-wheel drive plug-in hybrid models.

New opportunities for the Greenlandic business community
With the new brands, DERES AUTO also gets access to a large commercial program with vans of various sizes and constructions. Among the novelties are electric vans, which can be delivered with four-wheel drive.
During the visit to Sweden, DERES AUTO tested, among other things, an electric van, where the four-wheel drive is built with an additional electric motor on the rear wheels. The system delivers a pulling power of a whopping 1,600 Nm.
Traction is absolutely extreme…

“It was almost hard to believe until we tried it ourselves. The traction is absolutely extreme, and the car clearly showed that electric vans with four-wheel drive can become a strong alternative for Greenlandic companies. It opens up some completely new possibilities – also for customers who need a robust work vehicle,” says Palle Frederiksen.
We know how important four-wheel drive is to many customers in Greenland
The first cars have already been ordered
DERES AUTO has already ordered the first passenger cars and vans, which the company deems best suited to the market and the conditions in Greenland.
“We know how important four-wheel drive is to many customers in Greenland. That is why we have placed great emphasis on finding both passenger cars and vans that not only look good on paper, but also work in our conditions. The first cars have now been ordered, and we are really looking forward to showing them off,” concludes Palle Frederiksen.
When the cars arrive in Nuuk, DERES AUTO will hold a major event where both private customers and business customers will have the opportunity to see, test drive and hear more about the new models.
