U.S. Army Garrison – Kwajalein Atoll was delighted to join our Host Nation neighbors on Ebeye as they celebrated the 47th Republic of the Marshall Islands Constitution Day. The event began with a walking parade around the island led by the KALGOV and RMI police force followed by RMI and KALGOV leaders, then ALL the schools. It was a great sight to behold for the few that were not in the parade as the celebration of the establishment of the Republic of the Marshall Islands Constitution 47 years ago. Each school wore different colors as they made their way through the streets of Ebeye waving hands and flags, smiling along the way. The long line of people emptied into the Wilmer Bolkeim Community Center for the more formal side. Photos by Sherman Hogue USAG-KA PAO
