SAN MARINO – Tre Penne officially presents Nicolò Alfano and Devin Benvenuti, both included in the blue and white squad for the current season and regularly registered by the close of the transfer window on 2 September.
Born in 1998, Nicolò Alfano is an Italian offensive winger capable of covering various roles in the advanced department. Raised in the youth sector of Genoa, he played in the Berretti team of Padova and later in Serie D with Argentina Arma and Savona. In the Eccellenza championship he wore the shirts of Albenga, Pietra Ligure, Sestese, Pavia and Carpenedolo, before returning to Albenga in Serie D.
Alfano has already made his debut with Tre Penne, coming on at the end of the match which ended 0-0 against Tre Fiori. He subsequently started the second leg of the Coppa Titano round of 16 against Juvenes/Dogana.
The player said he had gone through a difficult personal period, faced with patience and trust. “It certainly wasn’t an easy period, but I faced it with patience and with the belief that everything would be resolved, especially thanks to the support of my teammates, the staff and the club,” he explained.
The first impact with the biancazzurri group was also positive: “I have had good impressions from my teammates since my arrival and they helped me integrate easily. They are people with important human and technical values and I am sure that, with everyone’s help, we can get some satisfaction.”
What convinced him to accept Tre Penne’s proposal were the club’s ambitions and the trust shown in him. “It’s a championship with ambitions and I was convinced by the club’s willingness to look for me and want to bring me here. I’m happy to be part of this group,” he added.
Among his personal objectives, Alfano indicates the desire to make himself available to the team and contribute to the results: “My will is to do well and make myself available to the club, which has given me so much trust and which I thank. On a collective level I hope that we will be able to achieve all the objectives, while personally I hope to be able to have an impact as I want, to obtain the results we have set for ourselves.”
The second addition is Devin Benvenuti, an Italian goalkeeper born in 2008, coming from a football career between Golfo Aranci and the youth sectors of Olbia and Porto Rotondo Under 17.
For the young extreme defender, the experience at Tre Penne represents an opportunity to continue his growth, also thanks to the daily comparison with two expert goalkeepers such as Mattia Migani and Federico Andreani.
“Having two figures like them at my side will be of great help, and this is precisely one of the objectives I have set for myself this year. I am feeling very good and I have found a very high level in all the teams”, declared Benvenuti.
