Foul play is not suspected in the death of a man whose body was found in Richmond on Tuesday morning, police say.
Police have identified the dead man as Kenroy Grant, a 29-year-old labourer who lived in Fitz Hughes.
A police statement said that officers received a report around 9:20 a.m. on Tuesday that a body had been discovered in Richmond.
A district medical officer confirmed that the person was dead.
“While preliminary findings suggest no suspicious circumstances, a post-mortem examination will be performed to confirm the exact cause of death,” police said, but offered no theories about the death.
“Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available,” the police statement said.
