Svay Rieng provincial police launched an operation at a casino in Bavet city to crack down on online scams, arresting 23 criminals.
The raid took place at the “Titanking” hotel and casino on Monday afternoon.
The operation was carried out under the direct orders of General Sar Thet, Commissioner-General of the National Police, Peng Porsa, Governor of Svay Rieng province, and Major General Pech Virak, Commissioner of the Provincial Police, in coordination with representatives of the Provincial Court Prosecutor’s Office.
During the raid, police seized evidence, including computers, laptops, and mobile phones.
The 23 suspects, along with the evidence, have been sent to the Anti-Technology Crime Office of the Provincial Police Headquarters for further procedures.
