Hasani: Working for Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe would help the KLA four to address Strasbourg

Enver Hasani, former president of the Constitutional Court, in the “Tempus” show of T7, stated that it is not too late to call the axis of the European Union for the fastest possible membership of Kosovo in the Council of Europe.
According to him, this would be the greatest help that would be given to the former leaders of the KLA, who would then be able to turn to the Strasbourg Court.
Hasani has stated that the behavior of the judges in the Special, without listening to anyone, is being done since they have no control mechanism.
If Kosovo were to become part of the Council of Europe, then the former leaders of the KLA would be able to take their cases to Strasbourg, starting from illegal detention for six years and other complaints.
“I’ve said it and I’m repeating it, the biggest disaster was not being present at the Council of Europe. Let anyone say what they want, I said it exactly with these people in The Hague, since I’ve been in this position for a long time,” Hasani said.
Hasani added that it is still not too late for Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe and that such a thing would put Serbia on the defensive.
“I still think that it is not too late to call the axis of the European Union. They have the office, but Germany or France, with talks with them about the implementation of the Ohrid agreement and with the rapid dynamics where Kosovo is accepted as long as Russia is not in the Council of Europe. With this, Serbia would go into total defense”, said Hasani.
