He said that the agenda of Oman’s next meeting is to determine a new sea route through the Strait of Hormuz.
Araqchi added that Iran will present the details of the understanding and maps related to the new route to the countries participating in the meeting.
According to him, the condition for the re-opening of the Strait of Hormuz is that the US returns to its commitments in the Islamabad Memorandum.
He emphasized that the responsibility for the security and stability of the region should be only on the countries of the region and expressed the hope that these talks will provide a basis for future regional consultations.
