The Mayor of the Capital, Parparim Rama, received His Royal Highness, Prince Naif bin Abdullah bin Saud bin Abdulaziz AlSaud, from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, Rama assessed the potential for deepening the economic cooperation between Kosovo and Saudi Arabia, saying that Pristina and Kosovo present a good platform for investments and that the goal is to realize large-scale projects.
“Yes, we actually have many businesses here that, despite the difficulties, are doing very well locally and globally. So Prishtina, Kosovo, is a great platform to do business for many, many reasons. And our image penalizes us somewhat, you know, after the war and that element of the war still remains. But the country has moved on. We have all the structures to create a very easy approach for businesses globally. Especially for friends like you, Your Majesty Your Royal Highness, you know we can make your transition here, setting up your business here, as easy and smooth as possible. You’re among friends who want to work with you, want to build relationships with your beautiful country and people, and we want to take forward large-scale projects that we know would be very difficult to do on our own. and quickly, and they will create lasting connections, long-lasting relationships,” he said.
Rama has said that cooperation can also serve to bring the two countries and business communities closer together, expressing Pristina’s willingness to create new relations with Saudi investors.
“And, thank you very much for coming to visit us here in the Municipality of Pristina. We are definitely very honored and happy to have you here, you and your wonderful team of businessmen and investors. We look forward to creating great relations between our capital, our country and your beautiful country. And I am sure that we can make this a reality. There are many opportunities that we can exchange. Many opportunities to bring our countries closer, to to unite our business community. You know, we are a small country with a big heart.
