
On Thursday evening, the National Gendarmerie published a list of categories exempted from paying the car voucher, in accordance with the provisions of Article 302 of the Stamp Law.
The National Gendarmerie Services explained in a post on its official Facebook page that the categories exempted from paying the car voucher include cars with a special registration number belonging to the state and regional groups, in addition to cars whose owners enjoy diplomatic or consular privileges.
The exemption also includes ambulances, cars equipped with health equipment, and those equipped with fire-fighting equipment, as well as cars equipped and designated for people with disabilities.
The National Gendarmerie confirmed that the exemption also includes cars equipped with an engine that runs on compressed natural gas (GNC), stressing that this exemption does not apply to cars that run on liquefied petroleum gas (GPL) (Sergas).
