The Minister of Ershad, Hajj and Endowments Sheikh Dr. Noor Muhammad Saqib told a press conference at the Government Media Center today that a total of 7 billion 818 million 307 thousand 200 Afghanis were collected last year, of which 94 million 565 thousand 616 Afghanis were added and will be distributed to Afghan pilgrims.
According to him, 3,223 Afghanis will be returned to each person and this series will start next week.
Mr. Saqib emphatically said that this ministry is trying to provide the best and reliable services in the relevant fields, so as to gain the satisfaction of the citizens.
Referring to the past, he said that the Afghan people have suffered atrocities in the past years and justice should be done to them now, and this is the obligation of the Islamic Emirate.
According to Mr. Saqib, all officials of the Islamic Emirate are committed to the rights of Afghans and no one is allowed to do any kind of aggression.
It is worth mentioning that this year, about 30 thousand Afghans participated in the Hajj ceremony, out of which 19 people died and 3 fell ill and the rest returned to their country after performing the Hajj ceremony.
