Heat wave
The National Bureau of Meteorology warned in its weather bulletin for today, Wednesday, of a record heat wave reaching 49 degrees in many states of the country.
According to a second-level warning from the National Bureau of Meteorology, marked in orange on the vigilance map, the state affected by the heat wave, which ranges between 40 and 49 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday, is: Bejaia, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, Relizane, Chlef, Ain Defla, Tizi Ouzou, M’Sila, Guelma, and Batna. Tlemcen, Sidi Bel Abbes, Saida, Camp, Tiaret, Tissemsilt, Medea, Blida, Djelfa, Bouira, Setif, Mila, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Constantine, Souk Ahras, Khenchela, Oum El Bouaghi, Tebessa, Ain Temouchent, Oran, Mostaganem, Tipaza, Algiers, Boumerdes, Biskra, Ould Jalal, El Mughair, Touggourt, El Oued and Ouargla.
