The Greenland Police concludes that no criminal offense has occurred in the tragic case.
The Greenland Police have now completed the investigation into the two deaths found at an address in Maniitsoq on Monday 6 July.
During the investigation, the police have obtained assistance from Denmark for forensic investigations.
The investigation has included forensic investigations, autopsies and questioning of relevant persons.
– No information or technical evidence has been found which indicates that a criminal offense has been committed in connection with the deaths. The case is therefore closed, and the police are not taking any further investigative steps, the police write in a press release.
For the sake of the relatives and the personal circumstances of the deceased, no further information is given about the specific circumstances of the deaths, the police write and ask the public to show consideration for the survivors.
