On the eve of the formal installation of the working table of the official alliance, this Tuesday the first “informal” meeting will be held between the leaders of the Green Ecologist parties of Mexico (PVEM) and Labor (P.T.) with the new president of the National Election Commission of Brunette, Citlalli Hernandez.
Interviewed separately, the parliamentary coordinator of the PVEM in the Senate, Manuel Velasco Coelloand the vice coordinator of the P.T., Geovanna Banuelosexpressed their approval for the reinstatement of Hernández Mora to Morena
“We see the arrival of Citlalli as very positive, since she was a fundamental part of the alliance that was built in 2024, she was the general secretary, with her we entered into talks, agreements and negotiations and we have a very good impression of Citlalli. She is a young woman, she is a woman with experience, she has experience, youth and capacity,” said Velasco Coello.

The Green leader in the Senate stressed that Morena, PVEM and PT will go together in the federal electoral process of 2027 and assured that there are possibilities of maintaining the alliance even in San Luis Potosí, where he said, “the senator Ruth Gonzalez (wife of Governor Ricardo Gallardo) has not yet defined if she is going to be a candidate.”
“We hope that there is an agreement and that we can go in alliance in all the states. That is the purpose, and if there is a case where this agreement does not exist on the part of the state leadership, there is the possibility” of going alone, he stressed.
For her part, Geovanna Bañuelos also celebrated the appointment of Citlalli Hernández as responsible for the construction of alliances in Morena, which he described as a “promising” fact for the unity of Morena, PT and PVEM.

He praised the great political stature of the former Secretary of Women, as well as “her conciliatory profile, training policytheir firm convictions, the experience not only territorial but also in the construction of alliances.”
“I think it is a great starting point for building the coalition of the 27th,” he stressed.
“Remember that together with Citlalli we built the strategy of the Plan C in 2024. She was directly responsible for us being able to achieve this strategy that allowed us to have a qualified majority in the Congress of the Union and in the majority of local congresses,” he indicated.
