Night flights at Argyle International Airport have been suspended until Friday, the airport has announced.
AIA said a technical issue is affecting the runway lighting system.
“As a precautionary safety measure, a NOTAM has been issued restricting operations to daylight hours only (from sunrise to sunset ) until Friday …” the airport said in a press release on Wednesday.
“Technical teams are actively working to resolve the matter as quickly as possible, and management is coordinating closely with all relevant parties to minimise disruptions.
Passengers are encouraged to check directly with their respective airlines for any updates to flight schedules,” the release said.
