LONDON: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a written invitation from King Charles III of the United Kingdom (UK) of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to pay a state visit to the UK.
The invitation was delivered by Sir Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, during his meeting with His Majesty the Sultan at 10 Downing Street in London.
This invitation comes within the framework of the historic Omani-British relations and the enduring friendship between the two friendly peoples, as well as the shared commitment of the leaderships of both countries to continue strengthening these ties across various domains, in pursuit of further mutual benefits and common interests. — ONA
