The legislative commission of the Interior yesterday closed the work to modify the Penal Code. After the last meetings, there were still issues related to sexual freedom to be closed and, finally, it has been agreed to increase the minimum penalties for rape to four years, when until now there were three.
The Concordia parliamentary group has positively assessed the work done, and the president of the party, Núria Segués, has celebrated that “we have been accepted and most of the amendments have been transacted”almost all in the line that the formation already presented last October.
