The company “Insider Team”, the publisher of Informer, received a verdict according to which it must pay one million dinars to former basketball player Vladimir Štimac in the name of compensation for non-material damages for mental pain suffered due to injury to reputation and honor by publishing information with offensive content in texts published from November 1, 2024 to March 13, 2025.
“Insider Team” is obliged by the judgment to pay that amount, with statutory default interest starting from April 29 this year and to pay everything within eight days of receiving the judgment, under the threat of execution, according to the judgment published on the social network by X (X) Stimac.

The court rejected Štimč’s request that “Insajder Team” pay him another 520,000 dinars, but the company undertakes to pay the costs of the litigation in the amount of 150,250 dinars.
Štimac, commenting on the verdict on IX, stated that it is often said that the judiciary does not work, but that if the citizens themselves do not fight for their rights, nothing will change.
“After several months of media persecution, I received a verdict against the media that published untruths about me. Therefore, do not remain silent. Sue, file reports and use all legal means. Justice in a country like this, with a cartel in power, will not come by itself, we have to initiate it,” Štimac said.
