A little over 635,000 pensioners and 10,000 recipients of benefits from disability insurance will receive an annual supplement in their account today, in addition to their pension, which will also be paid in five classes this time. Pension organizations have been advocating for several years that this “regression” should be transformed into a thirteenth pension, which would bring more to the beneficiaries, and there is a legislative proposal on the parliamentary benches, according to which farmers who paid contributions for a narrower range of rights would also be entitled to the annual and winter allowance.
The annual supplement will be five euros higher than last year in all five classes, and is inversely proportional to the amount of the pension: if it is up to 710 euros, the supplement will be 470 euros, on the other hand, for those who receive more than 1,210 euros, the supplement will be 160 euros. In the case of disability allowances, the range of the three classes is from 160 to 270 euros. The pension fund will allocate a total of just under 178 million euros for this.
