A man was killed in a single-family home in Luxembourg-Merl on the evening of June 28th. The Luxembourg public prosecutor’s office announced this on Monday. The victim, a 27-year-old man, was attacked with a stabbing weapon. The alleged perpetrator, also 27 years old, was arrested.
The public prosecutor’s office entrusted the criminal police’s “Homicide Section” with the investigation and called in the technical forensics team. A forensic pathologist was also called in.
The alleged perpetrator was brought before the investigating judge on Monday afternoon and taken into custody.
According to the public prosecutor’s office, there is currently no connection between the perpetrator and the victim. The investigation is ongoing.
