Six people were killed in a shooting in Stadt, northern Germany, on Monday, police said.
The man suspected of the shooting has been taken into custody. Two more persons have been detained for possible connection with the incident, it was announced Germany police, who described the incident as a “family tragedy”.
All those killed are adults. One under fire the condition of the injured person is stable, the police said.
The shooting happened near the youth center. As stated by the police press representative, this institution provides a place to live for mothers and their children.
The police department stated that there is no danger to the public.
