During his visit to Montenegro, the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces for Europe (SACEUR) General Aleksus Gregori Grinkevič met with the Chief of the General Staff of the Army of Montenegro, Brigadier General Miodrag Vuksanović.
“At the meeting, they discussed the security environment in Europe, strengthening the capabilities of the Army of Montenegro, improving interoperability with allied forces, developing military capacities and continuing Montenegro’s active contribution to NATO missions, operations and activities of deterrence and defense,” the Ministry of Defense announced.
Vuksanović pointed out that the Army of Montenegro remains a reliable ally that continuously invests in the development of capabilities and strengthening of operational readiness.
“The Army of Montenegro is a credible part of NATO’s collective defense system. We will continue to develop capabilities that will allow us to respond to all contemporary security challenges side by side with our allies. The professionalism of our members and commitment to allied standards are the best confirmation of our reliability within the Alliance,” said Vuksanović.
Grinkevič emphasized that the Army of Montenegro has built a reputation as a reliable and capable ally, which, with its professionalism and participation in allied activities, continues to make a recognizable contribution to strengthening NATO’s collective defense and security.
“The strength of the Alliance is reflected in the commitment of each ally. The Army of Montenegro has proven that it is professional, interoperable and ready to protect NATO values. We will continue to jointly develop capabilities that will further strengthen deterrence, collective defense and regional stability, contributing to a stronger Europe in a stronger NATO and the realization of ‘NATO 3.0’.” , said the Supreme Allied Commander Europe.
