Following their success as hosts in 2025, when they won six medals, Saint Lucia will send a team of 10 to the 36th annual OECS Bridge Championships. The event takes place at the Fort Young Hotel in Roseau, Dominica, from June 26 to 28.
The official national team from the Saint Lucia Bridge Association includes two pairs: Irvin Smith with Victor Theodore, and Naomi Patrick-Smith with John Lewis.
Last year, Smith and Theodore finished second to Anguilla in the national pairs competition. Theodore and the Smiths also helped Saint Lucia secure third place in the national teams event. The team earned second place in both national pairs and Swiss pairs, third in open teams, and both first and third in Swiss teams.
Three more pairs will also travel to the Nature Isle: Nancy Gomez with Monica Perreira, Monique Devaux-Lovell with Nannette Reyes, and Michelle Theodore with Ian Hippolyte.
