The National Meteorological Service of Romania has declared a red level of weather danger due to the heat in Bucharest and 35 administrative regions. “Armenpress”Digi24 TV channel reported this.
According to the meteorological service, a maximum high temperature will be recorded, which will be comparable to the absolute record of June. The maximum air temperature will rise to 35-41 degrees, and the highest indicators will be in Banat and Krishana in the northwest of the country. At night, the air temperature will drop to 17-25 degrees.
The ongoing heatwave in Europe is one of the most severe in the entire history of observations. In France, Spain, Italy, Great Britain and several other countries, the temperature exceeds 40 degrees, authorities declare red levels of weather danger, close schools, limit the holding of mass events and urge residents to stay in the sun as little as possible. Transport disruptions, worsening air quality and an increase in accidents and deaths are reported.
