19.56 Lazar Dejanović, a student at the Faculty of Agriculture in Belgrade, addressed the crowd, one of the nine students who were accused last year of subverting the state and the constitutional order.
– We are not asking for mercy from the court, but justice, and not only for us, but also for all those who fight that freedom of thought is not a crime. It is not patriotic to remain silent without rewarding patriotic obedience. The day will come when it will not matter who had the power but who had the face. When we will forget who had the functions, but we will not forget who had the deeds. Who defended the state, and who defended the government. Who loved Serbia so much as to tell her the truth – said Dejanović.

19.36 Miroslav Vujinić spoke about the abuse of our church into daily political churches.
– Today, we are witnessing that any criticism, even that in a well-intentioned, evangelical spirit, against the leaders of the church, is declared an attack and demolition of the foundations of the state. And that is a fight for the church. It’s clear to all of us what kind of country it is, but let’s ask ourselves what kind of church we have – said Vujinić, recalling the case of Bishop Justin, who was removed from the head of the Žička diocese.
19.30 Vladan Veselinović, a veteran of the 63rd Parachute Brigade, called the crowd for a minute of silence for Milovan Jovanović, who lost his life on a peacekeeping mission in Lebanon.
– Veterans are not looking for privilege, but justice. That’s why we stand by the students from the first day, we were their living wall. Because of this, the government’s repression spread to us, they arrested us, searched us, and some of them lost their jobs – he pointed out, reminding of his colleagues who have been illegally detained for four months and deprived of their freedom.
19. 25 The rector of Belgrade University Vladan Đokić and actor Tihomir Stanić also arrived at the protest in Kraljevo. Vladimir Štimac is also there, reports the portal Nova.rs.
19. 20 A student from Kraljevo, presented only as the winner in the elections for the independent Student Parliament, said that everything will be seen on Vidovdan. He reminded what kind of industrial center Kraljevo used to be, and how much its residents fear today from (un)announced layoffs in companies like Leoni and similar.
– On Vidovdan you can see smoke and garbage from our landfills. Mayor Predrag Terzić does not represent all the citizens of Kraljevo, but from that position insults the students, calling them enemies and Ustashas, telling them that there is no place for them here tomorrow. We are looking for Kraljevo, where one does not have to be silent, and young people are not targets. On Vidovdan, you can see that the students are winning – the student finished his speech.
19.13 Serbs in Serbia are foreigners, said a student from Pristina, adding that it was “done” with the consent of our authorities.
– Since they came to power, the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija have lost their mail, license plates, currency, and now they fear that they will lose their Serbian identity as well. They are afraid of students and the index – said the student, asking herself what kind of system is afraid of that.
“The index is up, not as a sign of spite, but as a symbol of knowledge and the right to have our voice heard,” she said.
19. 00 Milena Pavlović, a professor at the Faculty of Arts there, spoke about the situation at the University of Pristina with its temporary headquarters in Kosovska Mitrovica.
On this all-seeing day, she asked the Government of Serbia whether bilateral agreements on education in the mother tongue were signed in Brussels, such as Serbia has with Hungary, as well as whether the consequences of agreements, known and unknown, that our government concluded, have a basis in the Constitution of our country.
“Treason, betrayal”, echoes on the Square in Kraljevo.
Pavlović said that for years none of the officials discussed the situation at the University of Pristina, but that the students did and said: “We survived 500 years under Turkish slavery, we will survive even the greatest Serbian Judas.”

18.50 Dr. Dušan Petrović from Kosovska Mitrovica reminded the meeting participants that they did not come here on organized buses and for daily wages.
– Serbia is tired of injustices and decisions that are made far from the people. That’s why we are here to tell them that united we are defeating them – said Petrović.
He appealed that no one be allowed to divide the student movement and the rebellion.
– We want a system in which knowledge is valued, not party ties, and from which young people do not go abroad. With the departure of Vučić and this godless government, it will dawn on us Serbs from Kosovo to Metohija – he said, with the message: “That’s why pump!”.
18.39 This was followed by a block of fiddler songs on the theme of Lazar the virtuous prince, the Kosovar knight.
18.30 Nemanja Karović, assistant professor of the Faculty of Teachers in Belgrade, addressed the crowd with a speech about the Kosovo Covenant.
– We are living in a difficult time because those who rule Serbia can imagine it without Kosovo and Metohija, but also without drinking water. Without everything but without their power, and such ideas are not for politics but for prison. Do we want freedom or SNS cartel, truth or Informer, life among people or a corpse in a barrel… – he asked and said the students are winning and long live Serbia.

18.22 The official part of the student gathering in Kraljevo began with the words welcome to Kraljevo and the hymn “God’s Justice”.
“We gathered today on a holiday, in the place where the foundations of our state and church were laid. And after a year we are in the same place, fighting for a state where the constitution and laws are respected”, said the students, reminding that what is seen on Vidovdan, will be seen all year round. Then Rakić’s poem “Na Gazimestanu” was read.

17. 42 Miloš Pavlović, former dean of FDU, who is at the protest in Kraljevo told N1 that FDU started a process that should have ended with a court process and a fair investigation.
“We have a civil protest and it’s good that it’s happening all over Serbia. It’s good that students are in every village. I didn’t expect this kind of genesis of the student movement, because I’m an optimist. I expected someone from the government to wise up. But it’s obvious that there is less and less common sense,” said Pavlović.
17.38 A group of citizens, which calls itself the Anti-Ćaci Brigade, says it comes from various cities.
“We are from Kraljevo, Ljig, Belgrade, Sombor, Valjevo, Gornji Milanovac… A small but well-chosen team. Whoever does not jump is Ćaci”, is the logical message of the Anti-Ćaci Brigade.

17.05 “From the first day, any protest… we knew it was over, not because there are few of us, but more and more of us. He knows now, no matter how many protests he has and how big his rallies are, he knows that there are fewer and fewer of him. Just like yesterday, you saw people hiding their faces at their own rally, and here, look at us here today, a young, beautiful and proud world. And, if anyone has a dilemma about who is the winner and who is the future, compare those two pictures – Vladan Slavković, an activist, told Danas of the Local Front, which attends the rally in Kraljevo.
16.52 A column of pedestrians from Kragujevac arrived at the square shouting “Vidovdan, Vidovan”. The hosts warmly welcome them, “it’s pumping”, torches are burning.
“I feel very tired but very proud, and because of these children I could walk back to Kragujevac at the same moment,” Stefan Manojlović, a member of the united choirs of Kragujevac, told Danas, obviously tired but satisfied.
16.46 A group of students who ran in a relay race from Čačak arrived in Kraljevo. They were greeted with shouts of “Pump, pump.”
16.20 Before the start of the rally, there are already a lot of people on the Square in Kraljevo. For now, shade is sought in the surrounding gardens. Whistles and vuvuzelas resound. Signs, stickers, T-shirts everywhere… “students win”… and even lollipops.
The people of Kraljevo greeted Dejan Bodirog, who had just arrived, with the song “We have our god…”.
– We are here to support students – said Bodiroga briefly for Danas.

Engineer Zoran Đajić is also on the square, who said that the students are winning. We are waiting for the arrival of students from Kragujevac who from yesterday pedestrians towards Kraljevo.
