Tomorrow, the Emirate of Fujairah will host the third edition of the “Covenant and Promise” Forum, an initiative aimed at consolidating the values of belonging and loyalty to the nation and loyalty to the leader of its path, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and enhancing participation from all segments of local society in expressing pride in the achievements of the UAE and its pioneering development path under the wise leadership.
The forum will include a program that combines national, cultural, artistic and societal aspects, as it will begin with a documentary presentation reviewing the “Covenant and Promise” initiative, its objectives, its societal mission and mechanisms for participation in it, in addition to monitoring the large amount of community interaction that the initiative has achieved since its launch, and its role in promoting the values of belonging and loyalty among the various segments of society.
The forum will also include a main section for signing the “Covenant and Promise” document on the forum platform, with the participation of more than 25 figures representing the local community groups in Fujairah, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Fund, Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, and Sheikh Maktoum bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi.
The forum will witness speeches by a number of participants and supporters of the initiative, during which they will talk about its national and social connotations, and the importance of such initiatives in consolidating the concepts of community cohesion and pride in the Emirati national identity, in addition to highlighting the position that the Emirati leadership enjoys in the hearts of the people of the country and those residing on its land, and the “Covenant and Promise” will be highlighted as a societal and civilizational model that expresses the authentic Emirati values based on loyalty, loyalty, belonging to the homeland and the leader of its path, as well as About the role of “Ahd Wa Waad” in establishing a culture of positive participation and enhancing national awareness among individuals of all age and social groups.
Fujairah’s hosting of the “Covenant and Promise” Forum represents an important milestone in the path of the national initiative, which has succeeded in reaching various segments of Emirati society, to embody the highest meanings of loyalty and belonging to the UAE and its leadership, reflecting the depth of the relationship that unites the leadership with the people of society.
Director General of Sandooq Al Watan, Yasser Al Gergawi, said that the Fujairah Forum comes within a series of forums organized by the initiative in the emirates of the country with the aim of expanding the base of community participation in the “Covenant and Promise” initiative, which represents an open national platform that allows citizens and residents to participate digitally to express feelings of loyalty, appreciation and pride in the Emirates, and to renew the pledge to continue working and giving behind the wise leadership, promoting the values of peace, tolerance, coexistence and joint work, highlighting the unique Emirati model of community cohesion and national unity, and strengthening Awareness of the importance of positive participation in the comprehensive development process witnessed by the country.
He stressed that the forum will witness a wide attendance from various segments of society, including families, school and university students, community leaders, and representatives of economic and cultural institutions and activities, in a practical embodiment of the values of “Covenant and Promise” and its comprehensive humanitarian and national message.

The “Covenant and Promise” initiative was launched as a comprehensive national and community platform to express loyalty and devotion to the nation and its leadership, through digital participation.
