Muscat: The Coast Guard Command of the Royal Oman Police (ROP) successfully rescued four crew members of a wooden commercial vessel after it began sinking off the coast of Wilayat of Muscat in Muscat Governorate.
The crew, comprising individuals of Asian and African nationalities, were safely evacuated after the vessel encountered difficulties while sailing toward an African country. Authorities responded promptly to the incident and carried out the rescue operation, ensuring the safety of all those on board.
The vessel was reportedly en route to one of the African countries when it was exposed to sinking in waters off the Muscat coast. No injuries were reported.
