
The 130 deputies elected for the period 2026-2031 They will receive this Friday – from 11 in the morning – their respective credentials from the National Elections Jury (JNE).
In the Chamber of Deputies Fuerza Popular has 41 seats, Together for Peru 32, Good Government Party 18, Renovación Popular 15, Obras 14 and Ahora Nación 10.
Six groups won a seat in the new bicameral Congress (130 deputies and 60 senators).
During this Friday’s ceremony, which will be held in the auditorium of the Medical College of Peru, in Miraflores, one by one, the new members of the Chamber of Deputies will receive the official documents from the president of the JNE, Roberto Burneo.
