Washington – Al-Raya and Qena:
His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of the Lekhwiya Internal Security Force, met with His Excellency Mr. Kashyap Patel, Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the friendly United States of America, during His Excellency’s visit to the United States of America.
During the meeting, aspects of existing security cooperation between the two friendly countries were reviewed, and ways to enhance coordination and exchange of experiences were discussed, in addition to discussing a number of topics of common interest.
His Excellency the Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force “Lekhwiya” said in a post on the “X” platform: During my meeting in Washington with His Excellency Mr. Kashyap Patel, Director of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), I discussed ways to enhance joint security cooperation and develop the existing partnership between our two countries, based on His Highness the Emir’s approach to strengthening strategic partnerships, which consolidates joint efforts in facing current security challenges.
