The Galkan töleg app, developed by the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, allows car owners to view fines issued by the Road Traffic Inspection Service and pay them using “Altyn Asyr” bank cards. Once paid, fines are immediately removed from the database, significantly simplifying the process for users. The app is widely popular among drivers in Turkmenistan and has been downloaded over 99 thousand times on Google Play to date, with a rating of 4,69 out of 5 stars based on 900 reviews.
