Hassan Mohammad Saraf Kordi, known as Parviz Saraf, passed away on Monday, July 1, 1405 due to cardiac arrest. House of Music confirmed the death of this artist in an official statement.

Parviz Saraf, who was born in 1327, was one of those artists who learned music from the roots. He began his artistic career with a student in the classes of Hossein Tehrani (one of the pioneers of Zarb in Iran) and Mohammad Esmaili. This connection with the great masters made him one of the keepers of the originality of percussion and classical techniques of tanbak.
