    Khaleeji Bank organized a special national event to sign the Document of Covenant and Loyalty to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, with the participation of members of the executive management and the bank’s employees, to confirm the feelings of loyalty and pride in the wise leadership, and to embody the spirit of national belonging that characterizes Bahraini society.

    The event witnessed a large turnout from the bank’s employees and affiliates, who were keen to sign the document with pride and dignity, as an expression of their support for the comprehensive development process witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain, and their pride in the pioneering national achievements achieved under the prosperous reign of His Majesty the King.

    Khaleeji Bank stressed that this national initiative reflects the strong cohesion enjoyed by Bahraini society and its support for its wise leadership. It also embodies the keenness of private sector institutions to contribute to supporting the process of construction and development and to preserve the national gains that the Kingdom has achieved in various fields.

    The Bank also praised the wise visions of His Majesty the King, and the prominent role played by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in continuing to enhance the process of economic development and consolidating an environment supportive of investment and innovation, which contributes to strengthening the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain at the regional and international levels.

    On this occasion, Abdul Karim Mohammed Al Zakri, Acting CEO of Khaleeji Bank, said: “The signing of the Document of Covenant and Loyalty represents an important initiative through which we express the feelings of pride and loyalty that Khaleeji Bank’s members hold for their country and their wise leadership. It also embodies the unity, cohesion and ralliance enjoyed by Bahraini society around its wise leadership on various national occasions.”

    He added: “We are proud of the progress and sustainable development that the Kingdom of Bahrain is witnessing in light of the wise vision of His Majesty the King, may God protect and preserve him, and the follow-up and support that this blessed march is receiving from His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, which has contributed to consolidating the Kingdom’s position and enhancing its competitiveness at various levels.”

    For his part, Mohammed Abdullah Saleh, Assistant General Manager for Legal, Regulatory and Institutional Affairs at Khaleeji Bank, said: “This national initiative reflects the depth of belonging that brings together the people of Bahrain in their various locations and institutions, and confirms the important role played by national institutions, including Khaleeji Bank, in supporting the development process and consolidating the values ​​of good citizenship and social responsibility.”

    He added: “The security, stability and advanced legislative and regulatory environment that the Kingdom of Bahrain enjoys represents a fundamental foundation for continued economic growth and enhancing confidence in the financial and banking sector, which drives us to continue performing our role as an active partner in supporting the national economy and serving society.”

    This national initiative comes within the framework of Khaleeji Bank’s keenness to interact with various national occasions that enhance the values ​​of loyalty and belonging, and consolidate the spirit of cohesion between the people of the country and its wise leadership, based on its belief in its national role in addition to its banking and development role.

    Khaleeji Bank is considered one of the most prominent Islamic banks in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as it provides a full range of innovative banking services and products compatible with the provisions of Islamic Sharia for individuals and companies, in addition to its continuous contributions to supporting national, community and development initiatives in the Kingdom.
