On Tuesday evening, a ship is expected to arrive at Uummannaq, carrying several generators to reinforce the emergency power plant’s power supply.

Update: The Greenland Police announced on Facebook on Tuesday morning that the subsequent extinguishing of the fire in the power plant is still ongoing.
The police station is still manned 24 hours a day, and the community center opened up heat and electricity again today at 7.00, where citizens can get heat and electricity, the police write.
