He added that in this hospital, the treatment of drug addicts will be done by modern medical facilities and professional health personnel, so that patients can get standard health services.
At the same time, tribal leader Ahmed Shah Khan called the opening of this hospital important and said that the development of health services is one of the basic needs of the people.
He asked the officials of the hospital to cooperate with the poor patients in the field of treatment, because most of the addicts are facing economic problems.
Abdul Hakim Zadaran, the head of the Khost Doctors Association, also called the operation of this hospital important and asked the health workers to respect the principles of medicine and give priority to the service of patients.
According to him, those who visit drug addiction treatment centers often face economic and social problems, so it is necessary to cooperate with them in treatment.
It is worth noting that there is currently an 80-bed government hospital for the treatment of drug addicts in Khost province, but the need for health services has increased due to the increase in population and the arrival of patients from neighboring provinces.
