The Meteorological Directorate announces a change in climatic conditions for Paraguay. After a warm Sunday, the entry of a cold front this Monday the 22nd will cause rain, thunderstorms and a notable drop in temperatures throughout the country.
The Directorate of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH) issued a new report on the weather conditions in the country, warning about the arrival of a cold front which will mark the beginning of the week.
According to the report presented, this Sunday began with a cold environment in much of the national territory. However, an improvement is expected during the afternoon, reaching cool to warm conditions.
Maximum temperatures will range between 18 and 20 degrees in the south of the Eastern Region, while in the rest of the country the values will be between 21 and 26 degrees.
The sky will present a gradual increase in cloudiness and scattered rains are expected at the end of the day, mainly in the south and center of the Eastern Region.

Cold front entry this Monday
Meteorological stability will change drastically in the early hours of this Monday. The forecast anticipates the entry of a cold front into the national territory, which will come accompanied by scattered rain, thunderstorms punctual, moderate winds coming from the southern sector and a significant decrease in air temperature.
This weather system will initially affect the south of the Eastern Region and then gradually spread to the rest of the country during the course of Monday.
For Tuesday, Meteorology predicts that the environment stay cold to fresh throughout the territory national. The thermal records will be significantly lower than those of Sunday, with minimum temperatures estimated between 4 and 8 degrees and maximum temperatures that would not exceed 13 to 15 degrees.
