The angry residents of the village said that they no longer want promises, but concrete solutions, especially before the arrival of emigrants in the summer period, when hundreds of migrants come to Debreshe.
A brief escalation and an incident occurred at the protest, when some of the gathered protesters approached the municipal building and broke the glass of the front door. After appeals for calm, the participants in the protest withdrew.
The Municipality of Gostivar announced that the problem has been going on for decades and that they are already working on a new line and rehabilitation of the spring above the village, with the aim of improving the water supply. From there, they asked for understanding and patience from the residents while the activities last.
The residents, on the other hand, warned that if the problem is not solved, they will stage a more radical protest.
