South Korea’s Kospi rose 5.4 percent this morning.
The mood on the Tokyo Stock Exchange is also upbeat. The Japanese Nikkei 225 index is up 5.4 percent and the broader Topix is up 3.6 percent.
In China, Shenzhen is up 2.4 percent and Shanghai is up 0.9 percent.
The Hong Kong-based Hang Seng is up 0.4 percent.
