The National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced that Sirte Oil and Gas Production and Manufacturing Company has successfully drilled the A9-LP3D development well at the Al-Khair field, with initial tests confirming strong production rates and stable natural flow.
The well is producing 3,209 barrels of oil per day along with 1.948 million cubic feet of associated gas daily, with no water content detected, highlighting the efficiency of the reservoir and the quality of the crude.
According to the tests, the well flows naturally without requiring artificial lift systems, while the crude recorded an API gravity of 40.2 degrees, indicating high-quality oil and stable production performance.
