The American University of Bahrain signed the Pledge of Allegiance and Support to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, during an event held with the participation of members of the University’s Board of Directors, Dr. Wafaa Al Mansouri, Acting President of the University and Head of Academic Affairs, along with a number of members of the academic and administrative bodies.
This initiative comes as an embodiment of the feelings of pride and belonging that the university holds towards the Kingdom of Bahrain and its wise leadership, and an affirmation of its loyalty to His Majesty the King and its adherence to his vision, which laid the foundations for a comprehensive development process and strengthened the Kingdom’s position and progress in various fields.
The university also expressed its pride in the achievements achieved under the prosperous reign of His Majesty the King, appreciating the national efforts led by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, to continue the process of development and sustainable development, strengthen the education sectors, empower youth, and encourage innovation, in a way that supports the building of a knowledge-based economy and consolidates the prospects for a more prosperous future.
The participation of university employees in signing the document reflects its keenness to promote the values of citizenship, loyalty and responsibility in its educational environment, based on its mission to prepare generations aware of their national role, and capable of employing their knowledge and skills in serving the Kingdom and contributing effectively to its development process.
