In response to this problem, the Rebagliati Benefit Network developed the fair “Healthy smiles from childhood” in an initial educational institution in the district of Jesus Mary. The activity brought together dental specialists, who implemented educational spaces aimed at teaching appropriate oral hygiene techniques and promoting healthy habits from an early age.
During the day, the children participated in practical brushing sessions using models, as well as recreational activities such as interactive games to promote healthy eating that prevents the appearance of cavities. They were also carried out preventive orthodontic evaluations and simulations on how to act in the event of dental trauma, thus strengthening comprehensive oral health education.
